Engine Specs : Tata Nexon Facelift

In terms of engine, the Nexon facelift will retain the 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which will now be available with a choice of four transmissions, including a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT automatic, and a 7-speed DCT automatic with paddle shifters. Aside from that, the compact SUV will retain the 1.5-litre diesel engine with the same 6-speed manual/AMT gearbox as previously.

The variant spread, on the other hand, will see a significant change, with Tata abandoning its “X” nomenclature (XE, XM, XM+, etc.) in favor of Punch-inspired naming, which includes trim names such as Smart, Smart+, Smart+(S), Pure+, Pure+(S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+(S), Fearless, Fearless(S), and Fearless+(S), with sunroof models denoted by S+ sign.

Exterior Design and Interior Design : Tata Nexon Facelift

Now that the Nexon Facelift has made its public début, every aspect of its SUV design can be assessed. Aesthetically, the new Nexon has split-headlamps and a large grille at the top that features the Tata logo. It is surrounded by a trapezoidal housing. On either side of the Nexon’s Tata emblem is a band of sequential LED DRL. Additionally, the bumpers have been redesigned to make the SUV appear larger and taller.

Except for the new alloy wheels with a petal-like design and the accent line that runs along the sides, the general profile has not changed substantially. The taillights of the new Nexon are an integrated LED array, with the Tata logo strategically positioned in their centre. The rear turn signal has been incorporated into the bumper. A faux skid plate and C-shaped cutouts replicate the design of the front and contribute to the rear’s sporty appearance.

Inside the Nexon, you will notice a striking similarity to the Curvv concept. A new rectangular floating 10.25-inch touch infotainment system is positioned in the centre of the dashboard, as part of the modifications. Modern and sporty new two-spoke steering complements a completely digital 10.25-inch MID cluster that can also be configured to display navigation. In addition to leather inserts and carbon-fiber-styled accents, the dashboard features touch-sensitive HVAC controls.

In terms of features, the premium Nexon is prepared to offer a variety of exciting options, including connected vehicle technology, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, an air purifier, and wireless charging. Standard safety features such as six airbags, ABS with ABD and ESC, three-point seat belts, ISOFIX, and much more will ensure passenger safety.
